Hi, I’m Sara,
A Perth family and maternity photographer, mum to two cheeky boys and lover of magical light, genuine connections and all things beautifully imperfect. I love meeting families, hearing their stories and making everyone feel happy, relaxed and completely themselves. My sessions are more like a fun afternoon together than a traditional photoshoot. We might wander along a beautiful Perth beach at sunset, explore nature, splash in the water or cuddle up at home with your newest little love. I'll gently guide you along the way, but there'll always be plenty of room for spontaneous cuddles, wild giggles and those gorgeous moments you couldn't plan even if you tried.
My biggest hope? That you leave our session feeling even happier than when you arrived. And of course, with beautiful photographs you'll treasure forever.

I'll help you choose a beautiful Perth photography location, guide you with outfits and make sure you feel comfortable every step of the way. I also have a lovely client wardrobe of dresses available to hire if you'd like a little extra help finding something gorgeous to wear. And as for the kids? Let them be kids! They can run, explore, play, cuddle and be their wonderfully cheeky selves. I'll guide you when needed, but the real magic happens when you're simply enjoying being together.

Where do your photography sessions take place in Perth?
I photograph families at beautiful outdoor locations across Perth, including beaches, rivers and natural bushland. I love shooting close to sunset when the light is soft and golden. For newborn sessions, we can also capture those beautiful early days in the comfort of your own home.
What if my children don't cooperate during our family photos?
Please don't worry! Little ones are wonderfully unpredictable, and that's part of the fun. My sessions are relaxed and playful, with plenty of opportunities for running, exploring, cuddling and laughing. Some of the most beautiful moments happen when we simply let children be themselves.
What should we wear for our photography session?
Soft neutrals, earthy tones and natural fabrics photograph beautifully, but the most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident. I'll send you a detailed styling guide and I'm always happy to help you choose outfits. I also have a selection of beautiful dresses available to hire.
When is the best time to book maternity and newborn photography?
I usually recommend scheduling maternity photos between 32 and 35 weeks of pregnancy. Newborn photography can be beautiful at different stages, from those early sleepy weeks to the more alert, expressive moments as your baby grows. We'll choose a time that feels right for you and your family.
