THINS TO KNOW…

  • WHEN DO I BOOK? I highly advise booking at least 1 months in advance, as I am often booked out in advance & would hate for you to miss out.

  • HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENT? $250 non refundable deposit is due via bank transfer. The remainder is due 7 days prior to our session.

  • DO YOU DO GIFT VOUCHERS? Yes, it so happens I do!  You can purchase a session as a gift.  You will receive a printable gift voucher from me that you can gift to your loved one.  These are great for occasions such as mother’s day, engagements, birthday presents etc…

  • AT WHAT TIME OF THE DAY WILL OUR SHOOT BE? For outdoor sessions, I love to shoot at the golden hour (an hour before sunset), at this time there is magic in the air, a golden light and it is very flattering.  

    For indoor sessions (for example with newborns), and depending on the direction of your house, it is usually best to shoot in the middle of the morning around 10am.  At this time, we will have the most natural light coming into your house.

  • WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO DO MY MATERNITY SESSION?

    Maternity Sessions are ideally scheduled between the 27 – 35 week period of your pregnancy. I’ve been known to shoot a couple of days before the due date, but this can be cutting it fine, so best to plan ahead so as not to miss this special moment.

  • WHAT AGE IS BEST FOR A NEWBORN SESSION

    For sleepy newborn photos around the 2-4 week mark or for more awake and chubby newborns around the 2-3 month mark.  Do let me know your preference.

  • WHAT IF IT RAINS? If there are heavy rains or storms predicted during our session time, we will reschedule to a more suitable date. This will only be determined within 24 hours of our session as the weather forecast can change drastically.

  • HOW DO WE CHOOSE A LOCATION? There are a few beautiful outdoor locations that we can use, these have been tried and tested by me, so that they look lovely at the sunset hour and also with my style of editiing. These include the beach, river, paddock, forest and salt flats. Once you book in, I’ll send you a PDF with some locations that I use and we will discuss options. Also you can have a look at my Facebook/Instagram to see if there is a location that you like there (take a screenshot) and share it with me.

  • WHERE DO I TRAVEL I only shoot within Perth. There will be a travel fee for locations more then 25km from Melville. ($0.9 per km over 25km away).

  • WHO CAN ATTEND MY SESSIONS? Above prices are for nuclear family only.  Additional $40 per additional person/child. (Nuclear family consists of one couple and their children)

  • WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR? Neutral earthy tones. nothing too busy. When you book I’ll send you a guide on what to wear.

  •  DO YOU HAVE A CLIENT WARDROBE?

    I do have a client wardrobe with a number of hand picked and beautiful dresses to hire. Once you book in I’ll send a handy pdf with “Tips on what to wear” and also pictures of dresses in my client wardrobe that are to hire.

  • HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY IMAGES? You will receive your image gallery up to 3 weeks after the shoot day, I will always aim to get your images to you as soon as possible, so you may receive them earlier! 

  • HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE? You will receive 30 High resolution digital images, delivered by email via an online password protected gallery. You will have the option to purchase additional images / entire gallery. To Purchase the entire gallery of 60+ digital images, it is an additional $150.
